Alright I just need to tell you about ISU. So I went to the school on Monday, to pay for my schooling. When I get there and they print off my bill I have no financial aid. So I go and stand in this very long line to speak with the financial aid people. Finally after like 25 minutes it my turn and I ask them why my financial aid has not come through? The tell me because I'm being audited and they need a copy of my tax return, and that they sent me an email last week. They also say that I am going to need to get a fee loan through ISU to pay for tuition. So I go back to the ballroom and wait in some more lines for about 45 minutes, finally its my turn to speak with someone about getting the loan. The loan is approved for tuition which was 2634.00, but they won't give you any money for book, sweet. So I wait in some more lines and finish paying.
Then I go home and print off a copy of our tax returns, to take back to them. So, I finally get back to the school, and give them my tax return. Then I asked them how long it will take for them to release my financial aid now that they have my taxes, they tell me it will be at LEAST another three to four weeks. I also asked them why they are auditing me when my husbands financial aid already came through, and we filed a joint tax return, they tell me that they don't know. So, then I ask them what am I suppose to do for books, and they say, well you can apply for ANOTHER loan, that is 500 dollars to help you with books. What another loan?
So I fill out all the paper work and turn it in to them and then the lady tells me that it will take 24 hours to get an answer, and to call back tomorrow around the same time, and they would let me know. The start of this school year has started off with a BANG. To say the least.
Other than all this crap with my financial aid, school has been good, and has gone well for the first week, we will see how long that lasts.

Lame, lame, lame!!! I am so sorry. I am pretty sure that those audits are a lottery though... so thats probably why Tanner did not get audited! Good luck the rest of the week!
Oh Chelsey, what a royal pain. I feel for you girl! I am sure it will cleared up soon but how annoying.
Man, that really sucks! Hopefully they get it all straightened out and you can get it all resolved. So sorry for the hassle. You can always tell when school is back in session-it's always a royal pain in the behind!

2634!!!! WTF thats so much! Weber State is only 2093! And guess how much the U of U is.. 2300! oh my thats WITH fees! haha!.. oh and p.s. Weber has saughtered ISU in all of the games ;) suck on that! well i guess that just goes against how much you hate them.. haha Jk Loves.. miss ya too! Come see us some time!
