My Friday...

Why is it that when bad luck comes, it comes in 3's? Why does it always happen in one day? Let me tell you about my Friday. It started out with me taking gifts down to the salvation army, for the baby we bought Christmas for. Then when I try to leave there it starts. First my car won't start. So tanner comes and tries to jump me. No luck, so we call grant to come tow us. He get there and tries to jump my car with the truck and it starts. So Tanner takes it it Autozone to have them test the electrical system. Of course they tell us it's fine, so we take it to the mechanic shop. They can't even look at it for a while, so we had to leave it because I had to go to work. Then a few hours later, they call me from the shop and say that the coolant temp sensor needs to be replaced and the old coolant drained, and new coolant put in. I ask how much? They say 315.00 dollars. Well I tell him to go ahead and order the part because it has to be done. Then he tells me that they can't even get the part in till Monday, so I won't have a car for the weekend. Let me tell you it is awfully fun sitting here by myself for 8 hours. Oh well what do you do? Second my car needs new tires, and that is like 600.00 dollars, which there is nothing I can do about that either because it has to be done before we can come to Idaho Falls next week. Why is it that car problems always come at the most inopportune times? And last but not least, my work told me yesterday that they are letting me go after next Wednesday, because they can't give me enough hours next year, due to losing some children. So it is back to square one. Yeah. It is hard to remember how blessed you are when things like this happens, but I know I am, and I am trying to remember that.

On a more positive note, I made it through finals. I did well on all of them. My report card is in and here it is.
Anatomy and Physiology B-
Chemistry A-
Nutrition A-
Medical Terminology A+
Math 108 B+
I am pretty excited as you can tell. I am so ready for the break though now. Happy Holidays everyone. We love you all.

Chelsey! First, congratulations on your good grades! You worked hard and should be very proud, as those particular classes are NOT easy! Second, God only gives us what we can handle. Troy and I were just talking about how expensive it is just to do life. You are right...there is never a good time for things like this to happen.
We can't wait to see you next week! Chin up!

Chelsey: I know what it's like to not have your car. My car has been in the shop doing some warrantee work for the last week. I took it in on Thursday morning and they said it would be ready on Saturday night or Monday morning. Well, it took them until Tuesday night. In the mean time Dennis had to drive me to work and all around town in the GEO - that was an experience in itself - especially when we would go around corners and the entire car would sway. Congratulations on your classes! - those are terrific grades. As far as the job I would not worry, you will find something soon - you are very talented.

Oh man Chelsey, I'm sorry about the car. I have been meaning to call you and see if you guys found out what is wrong with it. That just totally sucks! I hate how expensive cars are, and the worst part is, we really rely on them.

Second, I'm sorry about the job. These are hard, hard time and I'm truly sorry that you have to find yet ANOTHER job! But I agree with Jill, you are talented and you will find something.

Thirdly, you did awesome this semester in school! Hip hip hooray for you! See, all that work is paying off so that you can get your dream job! You did so well-so have fun with your three weeks off!
